We are the Beyer family: Brad, Shelby, Kimber, and Bodie. At Anchor Farm, we champion soil health and regenerative agriculture practices. We know that healthy soil produces healthy plants. We strive to invigorate, not deplete, the health of the soil, the ecosystem, and our community. Together, our family shepherds a flock of hair sheep and raises pigs on pasture. At Anchor Farm, we also have two high-tunnel greenhouses and outdoor gardens where we grow seasonal produce using practices that exceed organic certification standards. Shelby’s produce is sold locally at the Seventh and Vine Boutique in Cheney, KS; at the Jako Farm store near Yoder, KS; and to the Dear Neighbor Food bank in Wichita, Kansas. Shelby carries out independent, on-farm research looking at soil and ecological health. Shelby also provides ecological health consulting and Indigenous Micro Organism Services for producers of all shapes and sizes.

Transparency is VERY important to the Beyer Family. We encourage any and all customers and followers to reach out with any questions at all in regard to our farming practices. Farm visits and tours are also available, so we can connect with our customers and community. Customers can see our standards of care for the soil, plants, animals, and ecosystem, and the passion that goes into our trade.
